Tyler is an avid video game player.

He began playing video games from an early age. He was introduced to video games by his father, who by himself a passionate video game player. He used to buy all the latest game consoles and games released.

While in high school, he worked at the restaurant Noodles and Company for about three years.

His professional gaming career took off in 2009 when he competed at a Halo 3 event in Orlando. He picked his virtual moniker as ‘Ninja’.

He had played for various teams including Cloud9, Renegades, Team Liquid, and Luminosity Gaming.

In 2011, he started live streaming on Justin.tv before moving to Twitch.tv by the end of that year.

In 2012,  his team won the Halo 4 2012 MGL Fall Championships, with Blevins notching the highest score in the final game.
