Kevin Wesley Love, better known by his stage name Kevin Love, is an American professional basketball player, who is currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He won the 2016 NBA Championship for the Cavaliers, a four-time All-Star, and also won a gold medal for the USA men’s national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Kevin Love is the second among three children to Karen and Stan Love, who was a former NBA player. He has an older brother named Collin Love and a younger sister named Emily Love. His uncle, Mike Love, is the founder of the band known as “The Beach Boys” while his aunt, Kathleen McCartney Hearst, was a former triathlete.
Kevin attended Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. During high school, Love was part of his school team Lake Oswego Lakers.
In July 2006, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) offered him a full scholarship to play for them. But during his freshman year, he pulled himself from the team and entered the 2008 NBA Draft.
