Kaajal Pasupathi is an Indian film actress, model, and VJ (video jockey), who is probably best known for having appeared on the Kamal Haasan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss Tamil as a wildcard contestant. She has appeared as a supporting cast in numerous Tamil films such as Dishyum, Ko, Irumbu Kuthirai, and Aayirathil Iruvar. Career Beginnings
Kaajal Pasupathi started off her career as a video jockey on Sun Music in 2004. Around the same time, she launched her acting career too, doing guest roles in Tamil movies. Her first acting role was in Kamal Haasan’s Vasool Raja MBBS, where she was cast as a nurse.
After spending four years with Sun Music, she quit the channel to focus on her acting career. In 2006, she played a minor role in the Tamil soap opera, Kasthuri, starring Easwari Rao.
Breakthrough
She got her major break in 2006 when she was cast in the role of Sandhya’s friend in the Tamil romantic film Dishyum, which had Jeeva and Sandhya in the lead roles.
In 2007, she was named the first runner-up in Miss Chinaa Thirai. Over time, she was cast in pivotal roles in such films as Ko, Perumal, Aayirathil Iruvar, Kalakalappu 2, and Mouna Guru, among many others.
