Joanna Krupa is an American actress and model, who is best known for her appearances in television reality shows such as Top Model, and The Real Housewives of Miami. Though she was polish by birth, she relocated to United States when she was five years old where she spent much of her teenage in Illinois and Chicago. At her early age, she dreamt of pursuing a career in modeling. She was very ambitious about her dream, so she moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties to become a model.
After graduating from high school, she pursed to become a model after convinced her mother. She successfully carved an identity for herself in entertainment industry, where she appeared on lots of magazines covers, including FHM, Personal, Inside Sport, Stuff, Steppin’ Out, Teeze, Shape and Maxim and appears in TV reality shows as well. Maxim named her as the Sexiest Swimsuit Model in the World and one of the hottest women in the world. Krupa’s net worth is estimated to $5 million in 2017.
Krupa was born in Warsaw, Poland on April 23rd, 1979 and re-located to the United States at the age of five. Having dreamt of venturing into entertainment industry, she left off schooling and pursued to become a model by re-locating to Los Angles. She started doing modeling in late 90s and in 2004 she was awarded the Maxim’s Model of the Year, pushing her career further. She became a successful model where she went on to appear on Playboy magazine cover for two times in a row.
Over the years in modeling, she had received several awards and recognition and endorsed several product lines. She garnered Miss Howard TV model of the month in winter 2007. Alongside modeling, the blonde appeared in several movies and made her acting debut in The Underground Comedy Movie in 1999. She eventually acted in several movies, including Planet of the Apes (2001), Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon (2004), The Dog Problem (2006) and Scary Movie 4 (2006) among others.
Krupa went on to appear in number of reality television series and shows, including Las Vegas (2004), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2006), Ripple Effect (2007), Six Days in Paradise (2010), Cubed (2009), and Wedding Band (2012). She became popular after casting in Bravo TV’s reality show, The Real Housewives of Miami. She appeared in the seventh installment of the franchise alongside Lisa Hochstein, Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, and Karent Sierra. She made around $75,000 for casting in The Real Housewives of Miami.
Joanna Krupa also participated in the ABC’s Dancing with the stars in 2009, in which she partnered with Derek Hough and finished fourth during the ninth season. Krupa also participated in several shows – Ultimate Women Challenge (2010), Celebrity Poker Live (2012), Ridiculousness (2013), The Doctors (2013) and Red, White and Bootsy (2016). In 2013, she launched her own line of swimwear bikini ‘ESOTIQ’ and she also has her own line of perfume.
Joanna Krupa got married to a businessman Romain Zago in 2013 after years of dating. However, they lived short together as they got separated in December last year. The couple didn’t have any children yet. On the other note, she has two upcoming movies for this year- the family film, Another Day in Paradise (2017), which is currently in post production and the action film, Street 2 Death Fight (2017), which is still in the pre-production stages.
