Charlie Rose is an American television journalist and former talk show host, probably best known for Charlie Rose on PBS and Bloomberg LP, a talk show he hosted and executive produced from 1991 to 2017. Besides he has been a part of several TV shows like CBS This Morning, 60 Minutes, and CBS Evening News. He was fired from the CBS network in November 2017 after he was accused of several sexual harassment allegations during his time there.

Rose attended Henderson High School, in his hometown, where he was a basketball player in his school team. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History from Duke University 1964.

He also secured a Juris Doctor from the Duke University School of Law in 1968.

Mary King (1968–1980) -He met his future wife Mary kin while pursuing his college degree and they both married in 1968. Rose divorced her in 1980.

Amanda Burden (1992 -206) – He started dating socialite and former New York City Planning Commissioner Amanda Burden, a stepdaughter of CBS founder William S. Paley from 1992 to 2006. According to his interview to Financial Times, he broke off his relationship with Burden in 2006.
